Two years after the battle at Hogwarts, Draco Malfoy's trial has finally reached a sentencing. As part of probation, he's going to have to spend three full years living, working, and breathing as a muggle. As if that weren't bad enough, he isn't allowed any contact with family or friends. Oh, and he's sent to another continent - just for good measure. This is when he meets Araminta Thomas, his weathered 19-year-old coworker that has a fixation on caffeine and a keen (yet developing) eye for b--s-. She, in particular, drives him absolutely mad.
How will Draco navigate his repulsion of all things muggle when he has no escape? His entire future depends on his probation being a success. And it goes without saying that nobody, under any circumstances, should ever learn about his "eventful" past. Not even if that person happens to be a certain 19-year-old... And what secrets does she have of her own, anyway?
