Everyone knows the book series "Keeper of the Lost Cities" as a great fictional read, but for one girl in particular it is the world she would trade her life for....
Rylan Carter is just a bookwork who is in love with adventure and the fantasy of living in a mythical world, particularly the KotlC world. Her mom will be the death of her with her high standards, but Rylan's plan of getting around them has worked so far. She then has the oppurtunity to change her life beyond her imagination and avoid all expectations, but is it really worth giving up what life she does have?...........

Authors note; I am a HUGE KotLC fan! I am (by quiz on YouTube) an empath and honestly it fits me perfectly *chefs kiss* but anyway I read the whole series (so far) in under 2 months and really thought about how my life is kinda bland compared to the daring adventures in these books, so I started this fanfic to take myself (and the readers) on a journey to find real meaning in just simply living:)

The world stops and at that moment, there's nothing missing in his life. Everything is complete and he had never felt so filled with happiness. He stumbles out of the club a few seconds later to catch his breath outside. He has no idea what just happened or why that girl made him feel like that.
