In this story, I'm going to use lumine as the canon traveller bc I play as her, and so I don't always have to say traveller.
(This story requires a Trigger warning upfront, the story has a s*icide attemptin the first chapter, s*icidal thoughts throughout and a major character death before it starts)
Lumine has died. She lost her duel with signora.
Venti can't help but think that if he hadn't been so weak, as to have had his gnosis taken away, she wouldn't have gone to fight signora, and wouldn't have died. Thankfully, he's doing better now, with the help of his friends in Modstadt.
Xiao, however, never quite got over her death.
Still suffering from his depression over years of... just read Xiao's backstory..., Lumine's death is the last straw for him. He goes up to the roof of wangshu inn and... this is where our story begins.
I will probably have some rannett fluff in here to counteract all the angst from Xiao in particular, so just be aware of that, and I might give the characters a happy ending... maybe.
