Poems about life and death, love and heartbreak and mustering the courage to go on - despite it all.
Majority of this was written in 2020 and 2021 and hence is inspired by the COVID-19 pandemic, the lockdowns, the mandates and the heavy toll it took on our mental health.
Having so much time to think about life led to a lot of existential angst - why are we here? and how do we come to terms with our ever-looming mortality? how do we grapple with the losses of people that we love? where do people go after they die? how do we cope with death?
In short, it is a collection about both the darkness and lightness of life - about the realities of this ever-changing world that we find ourselves in.
It was a way of coping for me in those long dark months - and I hope you will also find pieces of comfort and solace within these words - knowing that you are not alone, in your angst, in your worries, on your dark days.

Feeling betrayed, misunderstood, chewed up and spat out by the world, its when I get sonder, that I realise I might not be as alone as I thought. Trapped in my own head
She is an outcast. She finds it easier to express what she feels in the form of writing. Whether it is poems, letters or long texts. These are poems that she writes trying to describe how it feels to live with certain mental health issues, in a world that disregards outcasts. So, these are on the darker side of the spectrum. Some poems might be distressing for some readers. I personally enjoy consuming dark content, it's kinda like a coping mechanism. I really hope none of you relate with any of these :) I'll be posting only poems here, I'll try to be as active as I can. The poems are not in any order. The Words I couldn't Say
This is a place for me to put all the things I wish I said but I just couldn't. These are a way for me to "say" these things without actually saying them to the person I want to. I probably won't ever go back or read any of these because it's like revisiting a bad memory so don't expect much in terms of editing. Also I wouldn't consider this poetry but it is laid out that way. WARNING Talk of depression, suicide, anxiety, and self harm. Don't read if you don't like things like that and may get triggered. Petals of my moonflower
Red isn't always romance, sometimes it's blood, Moon isn't always for lovers, but sometimes for secret cries, Flowers aren't always for marriage, but sometimes for grave, Petals aren't always soft, sometimes they prick the soul. No plagiarism/No hatred plz. Also some things might contain mature contents like self harm. I want to say those kinds of suicidal poems are not to inspire anyone to self harm.
