The Outsiders
Hey. It's me, Allie. Allie Randle. You might recognize my name from my older brother. Steve. He's kind of a dick. Me and him used to be super close, but that only lasted so long. When me and Vanessa were about 10, he got up and left, moved somewhere and never told us where. He left us with our abusive dad and I hate him for it: I will never forgive him. He never knew that our dad was abusive. He left before it started, before people passed. I knew that it wasn't his fault but I couldn't not blame him. I have no idea why or where he went and I don't really care. He left us in New York alone, where we pretty much raised ourselves. I tell myself every night that I don't miss him, that I don't need him, and I don't. what happens when allie, vanessa and steve somehow find each other? or when allie meets ponyboy curtis?

I don't do soft. Don't do feelin's. But somethin' about Ponyboy gets under my skin-quiet, smart, too good for the rest of us. I tell myself I'm just lookin' out for the kid, but it ain't that. Not really. I watch him like he's the only thing left worth watchin'. And every time he looks back at me, it feels like he sees more than I want him to. More than I know how to hide. I don't know what to do with this... whatever it is. But it ain't goin' away. [obviously not my characters, credit to S.E Hinton]
