The end of the world is near.

Its shadow nears each day, ready to drag everything into its waking nightmare. No one is safe. Not even the seven protagonists who find themselves bound together by a strange circumstance. Some are lifelong friends. Others are strangers-one even to herself. Each carries a past; their own story. Some harbor secrets.

As the infected spread and society collapses, the group struggles against an apocalypse that feels increasingly strange. Even questioning the nature of their union-too coincidental, almost predetermined. As if an unseen hand had arranged their meeting long before they ever crossed paths. Coincidence...or fate?

Whatever the truth is, they will have to learn to trust one another and set aside their differences if they want to survive. Even when survival demands things they never thought themselves capable of doing.

Who once danced with death in a distant, fog-laced memory. After a tragic accident left her scarred in ways both physical and unseen, she wakes to her reality that feels wrong. Navigating her life with fractured memories is no easy feat. To make matters worse, she can no longer distinguish where reality ends and hallucination begins-the line between them thinning to a thread.

That's not all-there's something else.

A dark entity, tethered to her alone. No one else can see it or hear it. But it is always there-at her side, in the shadows, and in the deepest recesses of her mind. She cannot escape it. Worse still, her past begins to surface. In this new world, the past is not done with her yet. And neither is Death, lurking in the dark to claim that postponed dance, that'll inevitably be her last.

And whatever is happening to her... may be connected to what is happening to the world.
