"Calum? Don't leave me down here alone, please. Calum?" I replied, and started my ascent up the stairs.
"Calum, come back. This isn't fun-" I was cut off by a loud scream and a gun shot.
"CALUM!" I screamed, sobs escaping my lips. His body fell to the ground near the top of the stairs, blood pooling around his lifeless figure. I raced down the stairs, only to trip and tumble down the rest of the way, pain radiating from my left forearm to nearly my shoulder. I quickly got to my feet, running as fast as they would carry me out of the woods and to the nearest police station.
