Cas lifted Dean's sleaves up, only for it to reveal pink-ish scars across his wrist. The angel gasped and moved Dean's sleave up more. There were some old, and some fairly new. Some were even red and had dry blood. Some of them were probably from hunts but knowing Dean, the majority would be self-done. Dean pulled his hands away from Cas with a wince, as he rubbed a newly done cut against Cas.

"Cas-" Dean tried to say. But... there was nothing to say. Nothing to lie about. Why did Cas have to ask? Why couldn't he just find out after Dean died? Tears started to come from Castiel, reminding Dean of times where he comforted his mother. It gave him the same heart-retching feeling he had tried to suppress, and it brought back some of his own.
