Portland, Oregon has evolved into a where brand involvement equivocates to success. Ivy Korber has been preparing for Designation Day since the day she laid eyes on selected women from the prestigious fashion line, Lucci. Sharply making the age deadline, her future is set when she is initiated as one of Lucci's own poster girls. Things quickly start to lose their luster, though, when she crosses paths with clipped and direct Lucci executive-in-training, Kye. It appears Kye knows more than he is letting on, but with uprising attacks across the country by the notorious rebel group, Nominum, hitting closer to home than originally anticipated, the two seem to be the only ones acknowledging the threat. Working through clashing conflicts of interest, Kye and Ivy must join forces to protect their home in Portland and their own livelihoods, tiptoeing on the verge of much more sinister plots than Nominum's haven raids.
