Inside my head, it's like a bustling market, everyone and everything fighting for a spot in my thoughts. Memories collide with worries, while dreams try to make their case. It's noisy-like a room full of people all talking at once, pushing and pulling for attention. But amidst all that chaos, something strange happens: a kind of harmony rises, messy and loud, but uniquely mine. It's the symphony of my mind, raw and undeniable. Revised Edition 2024

I used to think there'd be no living without you. Then, you walked away. Like it was the easiest thing in the world. We finally stopped making sense to you. So, you left. Why wouldn't you. It didn't matter that it still made sense to me. That I still held on to all those what ifs and unanswered questions of us. Still hoped for things to work out somehow. Still needed things to work out. Needed it like food and water. This story might not make much sense to you, reader. It was written for him. And in many ways for myself. But I am grateful for your desire to explore our life's tale non the less. It was quite something. I hope you'll get something out of it.

Walking into an empty house is normal to me. I guess I got tired of saying 'I'm home' when nobody is home to reply. It wasn't always like this. I remember when our family was close. Now we don't see each other any more. We don't talk to each other. We don't eat with each other. We don't ACKNOWLEDGE each other. This all happened after my 'Mother' killed herself. My father blames me. This is my story about how I learned to not count on anyone else but myself. I'm broken. I'm used. No one can fix me. Self love, Self finding, Mystery, Fantasy, Short Story I've tried, to be happy, to forget, but it's hard when there's nothing to be happy about and it's hard when it's impossible to forget. The pain stays, and I let it. Days become impossible. It's never ending. All I want is for it to stop. So I can be alone, again. It's a mystery how I can still laugh, How I can put on this act It's been a while And I forget how long I've been faking How can I become real again? How can I find me? In a dream, it's what I need, it's what I've wanted, so how do I make it, reality? How do I get out of this trap, that keeps me, From being happy.

When people visit you every single day, it's hard to get lonely. Unless you're a ghost. Actual it gets quite annoying. In fact it's heart breaking when the people you used to love the most look straight through you. It's even worse when they blame you for their broken heart. Because they have no idea I'm dead. Trigger Warning: Contains slightly mature themes (violent and sexual) and swearing. Nothing too detailed but briefly mentioned. Completed on February 18th 2018

My hand slaps against my mouth as I try to shut myself up. Don't make too much noise...or he'll hear you. A vehicle's door opens then slams shut. I don't hear footsteps...but as the minutes go by I begin to hear them; the footsteps get louder and louder and louder, matching the sound of my thundering heart. That's when I see his shadow cast over the ditch...over the place where I tried to hide. "Well," he says with a smile in his voice. "I wonder where he could've gone...the footprints stop here...so I wonder if he just...disappeared?" My body begins to tremble. I can feel it now. The pain. I can feel the pain already. He jumps down into the ditch...he stands directly in front of me, with his back facing me. My hand presses harder against my mouth as I try to suppress my whimper, but it's way too late now. But his body tenses up when he hears it. He laughs bitterly as he turns around slowly, and his eyes cut through my camouflage easily. "There you are."
