Watchers. Beings of ultimate power. Gods.
They were simply a myth, a legend lost to the past. Or at least, that's what many thought. That's what X used to think. Until he comes face-to-face with two of them.
And unfortunately, the two seem to have an interest in making Hermitcraft their new home.
Xisuma has no choice, forced to comply with what the Watchers asked of him. He was granted power unlike any other, yet he is chained by their control. The server will be torn apart, distrust and chaos between Hermits.
All because of him.

All the dangers The Council faced are finally gone, at least temporarily. A new year is starting and Hermitcraft is moving to another season. Things are finally going well with Grian/Xelqua. Expect there's something... His deal with Xavier starts slowly tearing him apart and he ends up visiting the other side many times without anyone else noticing. Will things go totally wrong or will he be able to keep himself together? What if Xisuma and Evil X were taught under Grian to become admins? What if not so long after Grian joined hermitcraft, the watchers came and took him to help their cause, with Evil X being taken as well? What if it was up to a group of hermits to save their closest friends, or to X, family? An edition to my Minecraft AU being created.

~The hermits had huddled around a large hole in the ground. At the bottom of the hole sat two people. One had bright orange hair with a face full of freckles and what seemed to be antlers sticking out of her hair. The other was facing away from Grian and was wearing a plain grey jacket with the hood pulled up over their head. They turned and met the builders gaze and time seemed to slow to a stop. Grian couldn't believe what he was seeing. He was standing face to face with a dead person~ Grian left Evo and joined the watchers, whom he then betrayed and in turn, they destroyed Evo and everyone in it. But that's not where the story ends, because when season 8 of hermitcraft rolls around, Grian is shocked to see a familiar face. But what he doesn't know is that this familiar face is there for a reason. Because the watchers wanted Grian back.
