Brian found himself flung into the politics of an Alien race of a species calling themselves the Drake when all he was trying to do was protect the wife and son of his dead wife.

He found himself responsible for a pair of young Nobles with his own Nephew effectively held hostage to ensure his compliance.

During his duties to the High Lord of House Slashing Fang he uncovers a plot to destabilise a region of space, a region of space including Earth.

He must fight now to protect his Family, to protect his charges and to protect his Planet.
