Chelsea bree and her friends Ratchel Lyel, Ruth Oberts, Elisabeth forest and Lucy Lotts all find themselves in middle earth as they fall into a frozen lake on the run from the people they stole from. 

Chelsea must make her way around middle earth to find her friends and stop the war that will commence.

This book is taking place in an alternate reality where bilbo Baggins chooses not to go on the trip with the dwarves to take back their home. The dwarves are killed, the mountain was taking ahold by the orcs as elves, humans and dwarf does not arrive to stop them. Smug though cuts down the orcs not wanting to give up his position and gold. 
The good side is at the same as the bad side though they are slowly loosing as the ring has gone missing.
