The peaceful village of Aladé, a normal-looking, urban village in the middle of nowhere. Everything feels normal, there's nothing to it. Absolutely NOTHING.

     But a deep evil lurks inside the souls of many, called Corruption, waiting to be unleashed by a greater force, commonly known as the Puppeteer.

     Then, all of a sudden, four young teens go missing. The story follows the youngest teen to go missing, Osage Resuko, as she and her newfound friends work together to escape the strange, magical maze and battle the Shadows of Corruption within it.
