As a young seedling in this world, there is a common question that will often appear as you grow older.
What do you want to become in the future?
"I want to be a doctor who can assist others," or "I want to show the world my art," are often given replies to this topic. Whichever response they provide, they will share a common worldview. Whether to pursue their desires, assist others in need, or accomplish more mundane goals. Naturally, a child's fantasy is but that: a fantasy. Few individuals will labor tirelessly until they achieve their destination, while others will get dissatisfied with the trip ahead of them, and some will never even know their journey is over.
However, for one specific youngster, it is not about these false notions of who he wants to be, but rather about who he will become.
"When you grow up, what do you want to be?" They ask
"A villain."

When these eight students get paired up for an end of the year assignment, they encounter a lot of drama that will test their relationships to the max. What will happen to them? Can they grow comfortable with each other? Can these troubled teens even be friends in the first place? When a child is born their soulmate is known by their name and status inked on the babies wrist. Unlike the muggle world where you are judged for being homosexual and such, the wizarding world accepts it. A soulmate is destined and can not be changed so there is no point. Reborn in TVD?!
I don't get it. I really don't. I died, I get that much. But waking up in a dark and squishy place, with absolutely NO ROOM to move, I DON'T GET. Let's recap. It was a regular day. I got up, ate, showered and went to work. I was a police officer. I was checking out a house call about domestic abuse. I didn't even get to knock on the door before a man bursted out screaming at a women about calling the pigs on him. It didn't take much to figure out he was the abuser with the way he was holding her arm tight enough to bruise. I tried to diffuse the situation, told him to calm down and let her go. He didn't like that. In the end I got shot and died. Then I woke up in a small and dark space and freaked out. Then I get pushed out only to cry and realize I'm a baby. Oh, but not just anyone's baby. I'm Miranda and Grayson Gilbert's baby?! In 'The Vampire Diaries'?! What the fuck is happening?! Disclaimer: I wrote this novel before the movie Lucy came out it is in no way related but the premise of the brain and the powers eerily similar It is the year 2173. Human beings have evolved to use more than 10% of their brain, and as an effect, possess supernatural powers. Luna and Lara Valkyrie grew up in a foster home in the town of Westhaven, California. Both 18 and having been born on the same day, they were raised as twins, Luna adopting Lara's surname because of her own being unknown. Westhaven is a lovely town, the perfect place to live the american dream in. There is only one problem. Not only there, but in almost every place in the world, human beings are branded with a number, that being the amount of supernatural abilities they possess. By the time each child reaches the age of 18, that number becomes permanent, and everyone with a ranking above 5 is taken away. From that moment on, they belong to the government, and must train in government facilities that are a lot like prisons or army bases. Their eyes are changed by machines, and they are identified for the bright aura-like color that surrounds their pupils and contrasts against their natural eye color, "the sunflower effect". In an alternate timeline, the human race found a way to create superpowers. By extracting energy from stars and inserting that energy into humans, 'powers' were created. Powers allowed humans to gain unnatural abilities such as flight, invisibility, super strength or in other words, superpowers. Of course, with the introduction of something so revolutionary, people rose up in the hundreds of thousands in an event known as the Great Rebellion. The insurgents banded together under a single banner and became collectively known as the Shadow, marking the beginning of the Cosmic Wars. Out of the darkness, the Gazers were born. Using what remained of the power technology, the Gazers singlehandedly perished the evil and ended the conflict. However, there was a price to pay. Powers put a toll on the human body and had serious mental and physical repercussions. The solution was to recruit children from the age of 13 to 18 and train them so their bodies would adapt to their powers, eventually becoming immune to all negative side effects. The end of the Cosmic Wars brought forth a new age of peace and prosperity that the world had never seen before. However, the long reign of the Gazers has already begun to crumble, cracks showing up within the very thread of society. Their rule will not last for much longer. The Shadow will rise once again.
