It was said before...dark times approach as the sun and the moon go by, and it was true. Everyone that could, as well as everyone that couldn't, were able to feel it somehow. That darkness felt like a knot in the throat, a tickle in the pit of the stomach, a shiver in the bones...and it felt closer. The Clone Wars continued to escalate and they seemed to have no end, our heroes grew tired everyday and wondered if this could be called "a life" anymore; their happiness seemed to last merely seconds, specially since the team no longer is what it once was. However, not everything is sadness, not everything is sorrow. There's also love, there's also happiness, and most importantly, there's hope. Hope that everything will get better, hope that there could be a bright future for the Galaxy and it's inhabitants. The questions that remained were if this light could defeat the darkness, if good could overcome evil, if people could remain happy, if love was really the strongest power, if angels could turn into demons and if those angels could defeat demons or if demons could turn back into angels. There's only one way to find out, by travelling through the second part of this story. We'll watch the Battle of the Heroes, we'll listen to the Duel of the Fates and we'll see if there's a New Hope. We'll see if good prevails or if it is defeated by the shadows once and for all. I intend to keep him as in-character as I possibly can, meaning this story will not be all butterflies and rainbows. There will be abuse in many forms, as he will not be one to easily open himself to anybody else other than Padme. If you expect a happy story, this is not for you. Reina is one of two daughters who happen to be descendants of the galaxy's most successful family of engineers, the Vondars. A bumpy beginning to her life had led her and her sister, Sabel, into a life of slavery upon the planet Geonosis. Upon being discovered by the Empire, her seemly-infinite skillset with construction, ability to repair mechanics in near record timing, and overall usefulness to the developing Death Star attracts the attention of none other than Darth Vader himself. The two inseparable siblings are ripped apart from one another, their dream of joining the rebellion together dies alongside what Reina thought she knew about her own past. Beyond anyone's control, Reina grew to resent the man who gave her a new meaning in life. Her hatred for him entangled with Vader's own for her, the two of them craving nothing more than to feel the other's blood on their hands. Despite this hatred, an unexpected twist of desire arose between the two. The fear of love that had been buried deep within their own seething hatred eventually began to expose itself. Will Vader allow himself to continue holding onto the past, allow the fear of potentially losing somebody else continue to push her away? Or will he give in and protect her in ways he was unable to with Padmé. This story will be as close to canon as I can possibly make it, and Vader will still have to rely on his suit to breathe. The idea to develop that story came in my head after seeing the gorgeous fanart made by the very talented arbor_draws on Instagram where Ahsoka holds with one hand Luke's and with the other Leia close to her chest. The pivotal moment is the duel on Mustafar between Vader and Obi-Wan. In this story, Anakin is victorious and brings Padme back with him to save her. Fron that moment, everything changes for the Skywalker family, and for those who are closed to them, especially Anakin's former padawan, Ahsoka Tano. To read this Fanart, you must have seen the Prelogy, but also the Siege of Mandalore Arc in Season 7 of Clone Wars. Some concepts are also developed in the Star Wars Rebels series. Please keep in mind that I'm trying as hard as I can to make the whole story enjoyable to read, but english is not my native language.
