Fate of the Destroyer

In an alternate universe, Fate resides as a physical being. Every newborn child in this universe is named by Fate herself. A unique label telling the destiny of the one who receives it. And although some live their whole lives living under a false name and pretending to be who they aren't, destiny always comes to pass. This is the story of a boy who didn't deserve to bear the burden of his name.

In an alternate universe where your name is assigned by Fate based on a destiny beyond your control, a young couple cradled their newborn baby closely as they stared at the name which had been assigned in shock. Destroyer.

This isn't as detailed as I would have liked it to be. And it's only 5000 words (a bit over but oh well). I would have made it longer and dove deeper into the characters and stuff but I had too many words for the word limit already. I will say though, the ending kinda surprised me and I was not expecting the story to end up the way it did.

this story itself is complete, but I haven't decided if I'm going to rewrite it or expand it/ whatever yet. If you like the story and want to expand on it/ whatever just pm me first.
