ever since doctor strange cast that spell, peter's life has been very...different. in a good way or a bad way he doesn't yet know, but he's determined to make things work without the most important people in his life.

this story follows peter's life after the world forgets who he is. each chapter covers a different area of his life and gradually shows the changes he is facing. once the first chapter gains a bit of traction, i'll publish the following chapters. i hope you enjoy!

The fictional plot of the following fanfiction occurs after the No Way Home finale. The world can live without Peter Parker, but it cannot live without Spider-Man... Or so he thought? So what happens when everybody in the world forgets who Peter Parker is? After all, with great power must also come great responsibility. ***** "We have to drop these off to the homeless shelter first" I remind him lifting up boxes packed with donuts. "Why FEAST out of all places MJ? It is so far away. Why can't we go to a closer one?" Ned whines as he grabs a couple boxes from the counter as I make one last swipe before closing the shop. Post NWH; fixit. In the weeks and months following the spell, Peter's life has been... suboptimal. Nothing particularly terrible has happened (yet), but every day he goes longer and longer without meaningful personal contact, he feels like he loses a part of himself. He's really not sure how much longer he can keep this up. Meanwhile, MJ and Ned keep having weird experiences. Memories seem to flash and flutter, disappearing before they can grasp them, and it's getting increasingly annoying. It feels like they're missing something big, but with their friendship intact, senior year coming to a close, and the looming promise of MIT in the fall, they can't tell what it is. Between the mystery of Peter Parker (the coffee boy who keeps showing up at her job), the unreliability of her own memories, and the stress of her school life, MJ doesn't quite know how to feel. But she's always loved a good mystery, and Peter Parker certainly is one.Complete
