Giratina is one of Arceus's children; he lives banished to the reversal world for its uncontrollable powers. Still, it had a mirror to see all other dimensional worlds called the dragon mirror-like its brother Palkia, so it cast out the mirror so Arceus wouldn't destroy it. Still, it drains some of Giratina's power, so it waits for some of its strength to return and connect to its lost mirror wherever it could be in a dimension.
