Holding on

Emptiness.
A feeling of hopelessness,
that is soaked deep in my bones.
And just when you thought that there was light at the end of the tunnel,
it dims.
Surrounding you with darkness once again.
Constantly trying to escape.
Only to be met with a dead end.
Hold on is what they always say.
But there is only so much one can take.
Before they break.
