"Where are your parents?" He asks, but the child just continues to munch on the blueberries without care. And then Shouta realizes that he probably has no idea what he's saying. He bends down until he's practically on the concrete with the kid and that's when the kid finally noticed his presence. "My name is Eraserhead. I'm a hero. Can you tell me your name?" The kid just looks at him with a blank stare and goes back to the blueberries. So Shouta tries again. "Do you have a mommy or a daddy?" His head snaps up, and he shoves a dirty blueberry into Shouta's face. Okay. That was a dead end. - or Shouta and Hizashi have been waiting for their missing puzzle piece when they stumble upon a curious green-eyed kid who loves blueberries. "Please don't die, Midoriya." Shouto's voice hitches slightly as he says this. Midoriya's electrifying green eyes meet Shouto's own. "I promise, I'll try to be better." Todoroki Shouto consistently says that Midoriya Izuku is the sun, and in comparison, he is the moon. He has no idea what his life would be like without Midoriya until Midoriya is gone. In which Midoriya dies right in front of him and Shouto just has to accept that he's in love with someone he can never confess to. "I know ok?!" - Izuku screams, he never screams. Shōto flinches and fights the instinct to cover his ears as he stays put with his back against the bedroom door. Fuyumi frowns with the headphones in her hands, ready to place them over his ears, but for once Shōto wants to know. "He's not special! He's just-" - the sentence stops, Inko warns him to stop as it often happens and somehow Shōto wishes Izuku wouldn't stop. He needs to hear it, he needs someone to say that word. "I'm your son, you birthed me, and still I'm never a priority..." - Izuku says and his voice breaks. It's quieter this time. Shōto opens the door and takes a tentative step outside, not really knowing why: maybe to confront Inko, or maybe to comfort Izuku. The entrance door slams and he's faced with only Inko. She looks at him with so much guilt she might as well just have killed a man. "I'm sorry..." - she says and Shōto doesn't understand what she's actually sorry about. ~ To sum it up: Tōya decided to run away from his abusive household with his sibling. Endeavour face a trial for child abuse that lead to his immediate hero career decline and incarceration. While Tōya manages to run away with Natsuo, Fuyumi and Shōto end up in a foster home.
