"A captivating hook sentence."
"A remark to call out the main-stream attempt to grab attention."
Lastly, an apology to the reader who got bored in the first two lines.
Day in and day out. People get up and go about their day. They try their best to seize the day. They say a day when you don't learn something new is a day wasted. All their energy consumed in hopes for a productive day. Everyday. Ooof, that is a lot of pressure.
In the hopes to help you reduce this pressure with the illusion of escape from your mundane routine, the book tries to pen down the everyday philosophical conundrums an average millennial might have. The conundrums are intentionally written as dialogues to avoid turning them into boring articles or blogs. Thus, they are short stories. The characters in each story are fictional, but real enough.

This is the enlightening and motivating story of two young people searching for the meaning of life and self-discovery as they climb up Mt. Kilimanjaro in Africa. It is a philosophical examination and discussion of the pondering queries of our time: • How did we get to where we are today and how do we go on? • What should we do with our lives and why should we help others? • What then, should we do and how can anyone know what is best? • How can we make the most of our time and how can we be a "Good" person? It is a treatise underscoring the profound realisation of the monumental significance that random events and chance meetings and interactions play in the random ebb and flow of the time and space continuum as we veer and turn on our twisted path through life. It is a contemplation of wants and desires, of choices and opportunities, of decisions and timing, of expectations and responsibilities, of adversity and courage and the changes that we go through on our metamorphic journey from caterpillar to butterfly on our unending quest for meaning and happiness in our lives. There are insightful and thought-provoking quotations from philosophers such as: Albert Camus, Decartes, Confucius, Immanuel Kant, Arthur Schopenhauer, George Santayana. There are evoking images from poetry and modern songs, from artists such as: Robert Frost, Leonard Cohen, T.S. Eliot, William Shakespeare, Lou Reed, The Beatles, Pink Floyd. There are literary selections from writers such as: Samuel Beckett, Joseph Conrad, Fedor Dostoevsky, Hermann Hesse, Eugene Ionesco, Franz Kafka. It is also an interesting and informative travelogue describing many fascinating and exciting adventures encountered in numerous countries around the world:

Know Thyself - Socrates Have you ever felt like a stranger to yourself? Like you're here, but lost? Just another performing mask in a sea of faces? Another wandering being made of dust? • Finding yourself and healing amidst dark moments of life isn't the easiest experience. This journey from unfamiliarity to reconnecting with authentic self expression is what Onarietta documents in her début poetry book, A Diary of Soul. In each entry, she records new discoveries, old pains, hidden fears, joys, and hope that keeps her going, through poems and poetic prose. A Diary of Soul is a companion book for anyone that seeks to learn how to confront and comfort the dark and hurt parts of themselves. It is a guide to finding yourself and creating an identity beyond negative personal expressions and experiences. • Each part (Being, Reawakening, Refining, and Becoming) represents the ever-reoccurring cycles of growth you experience as a person, even as you learn to accept who you are, discover your potential, and grow into more authentic expressions of Self. || Original Description: A collection of poems and poetic prose. This is somewhat of a memoir. I have written these notes and poems to make you feel hope and dread, seen and heard. I have also written them to make you dream, for I shall not dream alone. I don't have nightmares...but I'm rather good at writing them. I also rant once in a while...or maybe that's what this whole book is about. I hope to sift through your head as you walk through mine.
