I stare down the fate that has befallen our city. Children holding on to their mothers only to be crushed by the raining metal of the enemy. No more tears to shed, no more hope to be held.
"It is yours to read. Reveal the story as much as you need" the older one says, handing me another peculiar covered book.
"Drown your senses, rid of those tears. Seek and reveal, the secrets of your fears" followed the younger one.
With that i turned my back from the world and drown my thoughts in the mysterious literature written elegantly across the old brown papers. Under this written ink, i found myself hiding. Under this words i desperately crying. Hide me. Protect me. As the siren of the enemy blaring ever so loudly.
