Of course, he turned himself into a puppy in the beginning to get into the family. soon as he grew up with the family, He grew to love and protect them. Around 50 years ago, Reiki senses something very wrong with her twin brother, a man who was also a half demon like Inuyasha. A few days later, Chiyo sensed Kikyo seal Inuyasha into the sacred tree and went to see Inuyasha. While she was gone, Naraku arrived planning to kill both girls but due to Reiki's dormant demonic powers and Naraku's recent awakening with his demonic powers, he could not fight off Reiki, and so he sealed her away.
