10 years ago, Gregory was trapped inside the Freddy Fazbear's Mega PizzaPlex. With the help of Glamrock Freddy himself, Gregory escaped the PizzaPlex, burning it down in the process. Now, 10 years later, Gregory is 18 and is now living an actual life. This was made mostly to serve as a love letter to anyone who's grown up with FNaF since it debuted in 2014 and a thank you to Scott who is now retiring considering he's retiring from the franchise, game development, as well as his entire career so that he can spend more time with his family. Also, since this is a novelization, a few changes were made to the events of the game, such as adding in more information and removing unnecessary puzzles, to make it flow better in novel form. It's been a couple months since the events of what happened at the Mega Pizzaplex. Gregory freed Vanessa and she adopted him. Vanessa kept her job due to how much money she was making and how useful having that money was when taking care of a child. Vanessa is trying her best to take care of Gregory while still being traumatized herself. It's a process but hopefully she'll be able to heal, right? During the last month of school for Gregory he learned how to make flower crowns! This spirals to Gregory becoming fascinated by plants, specifically flowers as a whole and plans to give the animatronics a bit of nature since they aren't allowed outside the Pizzaplex. Or Gregory learns how to make flower crowns, goes to the Pizzaplex and is a chaotic child who gets bored easily and does research on flowers. He's determined to show the animatronics part of the world that they don't get to see. Meanwhile Vanessa still isn't over what happened while she was Vanny.
