"Kev where are you going?!" I holler with tears brimming my eyes. The thought of him leaving me was overwhelming my thoughts. "I'm walking into Darkness!" He says back as though he was sharing a secret. "Do you care to join me?" I nod my head and slowly walk in his direction as he grabs my hand igniting a warm sensation in my shaky hands. "I would never leave my Creepy Girl..." He says as he saves a tear from cascading down my face.

My hand slaps against my mouth as I try to shut myself up. Don't make too much noise...or he'll hear you. A vehicle's door opens then slams shut. I don't hear footsteps...but as the minutes go by I begin to hear them; the footsteps get louder and louder and louder, matching the sound of my thundering heart. That's when I see his shadow cast over the ditch...over the place where I tried to hide. "Well," he says with a smile in his voice. "I wonder where he could've gone...the footprints stop here...so I wonder if he just...disappeared?" My body begins to tremble. I can feel it now. The pain. I can feel the pain already. He jumps down into the ditch...he stands directly in front of me, with his back facing me. My hand presses harder against my mouth as I try to suppress my whimper, but it's way too late now. The guy, clad in yellow shirt and sweatpants, with messy jet black hair, and pretty eyes looking at me with a questionable look. I don't know just what to say. I am feeling I am being interrogated, but how can there be such an effect just with one expression? I mean I should be the one with questions, after all this rather unknown potentially dangerous guy just somehow jumps to my terrace and instead of giving an apology looks at me with those questionable eyes. josh decided to come closer to the guy, because not only did he want to see what he looked like, but he also wanted to make sure he wasn't a ghost. ghosts were scary, and if he was to be a spirit, josh would know when to run instead of making small talk.
