Carter and Brig have been best friends since elementary school. Brig was always the more popular and 'prettier' one of the two. At least that's what Carter thought everyone believed. But was that far from it. Carter didn't care either way because she had her boyfriend. The one person she truly trusted... Then her summer happened, everything went horrible. Her mother was diagnosed with 3rd stage cancer and her dad began distancing himself from everything. Drowning himself with his work. But her Moms now in remission and her dads finally came to his senses. Now it's her 18th birthday and 3 months into her senior year of school everything should start looking up. Right?

It's the first day of June's senior year and everything is already going wrong.
