As soon as Kayden turns 15, she thinks her life will change for the better. How could it not? The government evolved into something new, something better - at least so they say. But as Kayden adapts to life as an adult in this new government system, she finds that her life isn't actually changing for the better. Her friends Marr and Brick, and her love Konnor, help her recognize what the world has turned into and they desperately search for a way to get the freedom back that was once-upon-a-time in the world. Author's Note: Never in my life have I ever stopped writing stories. However, this is the first time I'm sharing one of my pieces with the public. If people like this book, I'll continue adding more chapters/story parts. If not, I'll continue writing for my own joy. This book is the first of what will be a three-part series. Also, I know that when I read books what really captures my attention is the romance.
