Defeating the Rhino and his best friend was easier than Peter had thought, but of course, every villain had came with a price. He had finally gotten a break from being the hero that fought off the true super villains.

But the one villain he was still fighting was heartbreak.

Still grieving the loss of his girlfriend Gwen Stacy, Peter decides it's best to move out of his Aunt May's and live on his own to ensure her safety. His new neighbors keep to themselves, and he was grateful for that. Less friends, less losses.

But when the vacant apartment across from his suddenly has a new owner, will Peter be able to stop himself from falling for Mary Jane, or remind himself of the pain he went through losing Gwen?

And with his new rival and coworker Eddie Brock attempting to take MJ for his own, the problems keep building up.
