Nathan, or Nate as everyone called him, had a girlfriend. On the surface, everything seemed perfect. But beneath that façade, his heart was restless, drawn elsewhere-toward someone else. It was his best friend, Steve.
Steve, with his smooth caramel skin and thick black hair that effortlessly fell into place as he walked, had captivated Nate in ways he couldn't quite explain. There was an unspoken connection, a magnetic pull. Yet, no matter how strongly Nate felt, he couldn't allow himself to fully embrace those emotions.
It wasn't just the expectations of society weighing on him, though. His parents, devout Christians, had always made it clear that certain desires were forbidden. They had even nudged him into his current relationship, subtly forcing him to conform.
