Orla Taylor had a rough start to life. She spent her first 6 years in the care of her mother who couldn't care less about her 4 children, and hopped from one terrible boyfriend to the next. Everything bad that happened those 6 years culminated into one terrible night, when Orla saw something that would scar her forever. The only positive thing? That it led to her older brother gaining custody over her and her brother Dylan. Now Connell, a year after the incident, with the help of their fourth brother Sean, relocate the siblings to a small coastal town in the hopes of starting fresh and escaping their terrible past. But as the brothers start to suspect that Orla remembers more from that night that she cares to let on, her search for solitude becomes increasingly difficult and leaves her with one terrible truth. That some people were born to be broken.

Aurora's life had always been about survival, each day a quiet battle against fear and pain. When her stepfather was finally arrested, she thought the fight was over. But leaving one dangerous world meant stepping into another-one she didn't fully understand. Now, she's living with seven older brothers she barely knows, their lives a tangle of secrets and shadows they never speak of. Their house is loud, protective, and filled with rules she's afraid to break. For Aurora, it's a new kind of survival. For her brothers, it's a chance to keep her safe-no matter what it takes.
