Krigsgaldr - "War Magic"

Tyr was the son of the leader in a small village of Southern Svealand. A faith that came with obligations he did not want.

Freke was a wolf shapeshifter, a descendant of Fenrir some would say, and they were both loved and hated for it.

Their lives were connected. As the heir of the Jarl and a Vitki in training, best friends since childhood and lovers of late they spent all their time together.
But will their love for one another be weakened or strengthened by Tyr's uncles arrival, his mother's plans of his upcoming marriage and the destiny the Gods have set for them both?

------------------------------------------

This is a fantasy novel inspired by Norse mythology and the history of my country, Sweden. In this book I mix real historical facts with fantasy.

This book follows the Wattpad guidelines and is not rated as mature, though there are some violent scenes and a lot of Norse religious believes in this book, polygamy and LGBTQ+ characters.

The Gifts of Mortality - editing by eleanorkennedy14
39 parts Ongoing
**REVISING** The gods have no pity for humans and their impermanence. Why would they care for lives measured in years, when time marches into millennia for them? The immortals stay in their city. The humans remain in their parts of the world. That is until a human terrorist group gains control over the Goddess of Death, forcing her to kill their enemies and increase their power. All immortals keep their backs turned on humanity. Except Samil, the God of Festivals and the Arts. Samil knows he isn't very powerful among his kind. Or important. Or confident. Yet, when he learns that the humans are desperate, he chooses to do a deceptively simple thing: Help them. ___________________________________ @Voyageavecmoi was kind enough to write this review of my book and she described it 100x better than I ever could lol. With her permission, I'm posting it below. Also, check out her book "Flight Risk." It's a sweet and deep romance about two characters negotiating their feelings for each other while life is doing everything to tear them apart. The characters have such mature conversations and, there's no reliance on the miscommunication trope at all. I'm *obsessed.* If you enjoy intriguing fantasy novels with deep and thoughtful themes, check out 'The Gifts of Mortality' by @eleanorkennedy14 . It explores the concept of mortality and how it gives life meaning through the eyes of both gods and humans. The story follows Samil, the god of the Festivals and the Arts, who is shocked by the apathy of his fellow gods when a human terrorist group gains control over the Goddess of Death. Despite finding no support among his kind, he's determined to help the humans, which sets him down an interesting course. There are lots of great twists in this novel, and I also loved seeing how queerness was worked in throughout both the immortal and mortal realms. Samil is a sweet and refreshing character to root for who is determined to see the good in the world.

14 parts Ongoing Mature
This was their world, The three of them had a place where loyalty wavered like the edge of a blade and love was as ruthless as the gods who wove their fates. Ivar stood, his piercing gaze cold as ice, a twisted mix of brilliance and cruelty born from his unyielding ambition. Hilda's eyes found his, unwavering as if she could see past the storm of fury to the man buried beneath. He was her chaos-wild, consuming, and destructive, but she was his equal. The fire to his frost, her wrath burned just as fiercely, a force that could either ignite the heavens or bring them both to ruin. Hvitserk lingered in her mind, a stark contrast to his brother's unrelenting darkness. His touch was a fleeting reprieve, a warmth that reminded her of freedom, laughter, and everything she could have been without the weight of Ivar's possessive love. But could Hvitserk's light be enough for Hilda to escape the shadow of the one who claimed her soul? In a world carved by swords and soaked in blood, their love was no salvation-it was a weapon. Sharp, devastating, and bound to leave scars that would never fade. But who will she choose, Hvitserk? the wise and caring boy how longed for her touch or Ivar? The one whos storms merged with hers? I do not own the Vikings franchise Hilda is my character CAUTION This book is heavily based on the events of "Vikings" (found on Netflix)which includes graphic violence, sex both consensual and nonconsensual , drinking, drugs, suicide and brutality

Frej Rising (After Death Chronicles)

43 parts Complete Mature

Dark Historical Fantasy | Vampire | Romance | LGBTQ+ Frej was the seer's apprentice. He was supposed to be the link between the gods and his village. But when he was chosen to be sacrificed, he didn't decline. He revelled in being chosen for such an honour; an audience with Freja herself. Except it's not the Norse deity of Love that greets him when he wakes on his sacrificial pyre: it's the Aztec deity of Death; Xipe Totec. After spending a month together in a small cabin, they're in love. Frej is whisked away from Dania to East Anglia, having to leave his Viking ways behind and enter higher society, ruled by politics he's entirely ignorant about. Frej is eager to learn from his lover, but it proves harder than he realised. Having to fight for their relationship, everything is put to the test; Frej's sanity, his humanity, his beliefs and everything he thought he stood for. Giving in to the deity is too easy. Giving in to the night is not, when you're born in fire. ____________ Featured on @WattVampires' March Madness showcase. Featured on @HistoricalFiction's "Historical Fantady/Fairytales" reading list.
