"Ah! Get the frick away from me!" I screamed running away from the beast that was currently chasing me. The creature was gaining on me and I had to think quick, so like any sensible person I picked up the closest object to me and chucked it at the thing. And how'd that go you might ask? Well terrible, the thing I grabbed was a stick and not a big one, a stinking little stick. Once I threw it at the thing it didn't even seem fazed at all.

Monsters are everywhere, but the human ones are the worst. At least the Creatures of the Night don't kid almost families, friends, neighbors, coworkers. Once reborn they live in the night. Sure, they do all of the same twisted things that humans do to one another, but they don't hide who they are. When you see them you know death is coming. You can predict the sick things they will do to you. But when the monster looks human, you're blindsided. One minute you're in love with a guy and the next he's slitting your throat. Trust me, I speak from experience. Gruesome things that use to make me sick now makes my stomach flutter in joy. I traded charming grins and blue eyes for carved smilies and orbs of onyx. I traded sunlight for the glow of the moon. I gave up living amongst humans for creatures of the night. And I wouldn't go back for anything in the world. I am finally home.
