A teenager recounts the last few months of his life as he refuses to fight his father's battles and desperately tries to experience all he can before an aggressive brain cancer claims him. Loosely based on Christopher Marlowe's 'Tamburlain the Great'. 

Cyrus Laine is given less than a year to live, and he's determined to make it the greatest year of his life. He is going to go to school, kiss his crush, and most of all, hide his debilitating illness from everyone, including his younger brothers.  It's not going well, considering his crush is the handsomest boy in school who probably isn't gay, he's having seizures and raging headaches at every turn, and his father is riding him harder than ever, but Cyrus is determined to make this the greatest year of his life, or die trying. 



Trigger/Content: some brief violence and profanity, psychological and physical abuse, some upsetting sequences and conversations involving end of life issues and cancer. Be aware of your mental state and seek support if needed.All Rights Reserved

His/her likes, favorite food, future dreams and all of that. You can have sleepovers, road trips, movie nights. Whatever works to make your project a success. This project is aimed at breaking old cliche friendship circle and expanding your horizons. There are good friends out there you just have to look out of your bubble." Hailey is paired with Mason Lightning whom she shares a love-hate relationship since their childhood. Friendships are established and insecurities are broken. Hailey has decided if there is one person worth fighting for its for Mason. He's given her the reason to live. She decides to dwell on the 1% success and fight for her life. "Leo pinned me against the wall with his hips; his hands gently gripping my wrists, keeping my arms above my head against the cool brick behind me. His beautiful, hazy blue eyes -that had turned straight quicksilver, again- were filled with such an intense, carnal desire I couldn't even look into them, so I looked over his shoulder. I saw a small group of kids from the group standing out by their cars who would easily be able to see what we were doing...or at least what Leo was doing to me. At that moment, my mind started wandering to all the things that I could be doing to him right now...but I stopped that train of thought, immediately, as it started heading to all the wrong places... All the dirty places... All of those places involving a very hard part of my body... I glanced back at Leo; his gaze was still as intense as it was before (unfortunately). He smirked at me and said confidently, "You can't ignore me forever, Ethan. You're eventually gonna fall for my charms..." Ethan Carter was focused on 2 things. 1. School (obviously) and 2. Getting over ex (it's proving to be, harder than he thought), but now he has to add dying to that list, and suddenly having feelings for a boy (which has happened once before, but Ethan tries to forget it). Leo Malone makes Ethan feel things he's never felt for another guy. Leo's sweet, patient, and understanding, the only problem is, he's a guy.
