The Santa Clause: A Calvin Christmas [Book 1]
It's a Calvin Christmas like no other - singing carols, reading 'Twas The Night Before Christmas, and Scott burning the turkey. Yep, your typical Christmas at the Calvin household. ...Or so they thought! Annabelle Calvin, or 'Bell' for short, just turned 16 and finally gets to live with her dad, Scott Calvin, after her parents divorce. Just when she was having a Christmas movie marathon with her best friend Holly Clementine, they hear a loud thump from the roof. When they go to investigate what it was with Annabelle's younger brother Charlie, they see something they thought was only in their imagination. Suddenly, they are taken to the North Pole by none other than Santa's very own reindeers and sleigh. Once they arrive at the North Pole, they are greeted by Bernard, Head Elf No.1, and his younger brother Luke, Head Elf No.2, who tell them that Scott officially became the new Santa Claus as soon as he put on the suit. Join Annabelle and Holly as they both try to convince Scott to accept his role as the new Santa Claus, while trying not to risk having therapy sessions with Dr. 'I-Got-My-PhD-Out-Of-A-Cereal-Box', discovering romance along the way, and slowly come to terms with what their hearts really want. Also...did I mention they have the power to bring the holiday spirit to everyone around them?
