Midnight Mage
In a world of supernaturals, I am something else. Ascension Day turned Average Joes into spell-casting savants, Plain Janes into glamorous vampires, and the homeless guy at the intersection of Sunset and Santa Monica into the alpha werewolf of Los Angeles. Unfortunately for me, my Ascension was... unique. I was struck by lightning and can't stop throwing sparks. For the last fourteen years, hiding has kept me safe from the government, while my uncle's magic has kept the public safe from me. Now, just when I've found some semblance of control over my power, my world turns upside down again. A terrorist organization has kidnapped my dad, thrusting me to the center of an investigation that quickly reveals my anonymity was only an illusion. Some of the most famous, dangerous supernaturals in the world surround me, and their agendas are as mystifying as my growing powers. My sworn protector is none other than Riven Thorne - arguably the oldest, most powerful vampire in existence. But even silver linings cast shadows; Riven has more secrets than I do. My name is Alfea Sullivan, and for better or worse, the world is about to find out exactly who I am.

The Fourteen
Welcome to the Four Kingdoms, a secret and magical land nestled inside the human world. For centuries, this country divided into the North, East, South, and Western Kingdoms has sheltered the most abnormal of inhabitants. Werewolves, Vampires, Necromancers and Witches make up only a handful of the citizens. Unnoticed by most, these purebred supernaturals have passed their powers through generations; but modern day science has changed everything. Some supernatural teens and young adults are part of a new experiment, the hybrids: paranormal beings, born out of the result of mixed genes. With Gene S in their DNA, they are given extraordinary gifts unheard of before in supernatural history. But with great power, comes great responsibility. In order to master their newfound abilities, both purebred and hybrid children alike must attend a Supernatural Boarding School. This includes Princess Mae, of the Northern Kingdom, a fifteen-year-old werewolf-shayman hybrid. She can shift into her wolf one week before and after the full moon, cast minor spells, and bend the natural elements. But darkness lurks her past. When old enemies threaten the safety of the hybrid children, the government, under the banner of the Imperial Empire, finds themselves caught in a web of deceit. Their enemy will stop at nothing to get the Gene and some Imperial hybrids for experiments. So, when Mae just might hold the future of this feud in her hands, how will she cope? How can a single, adolescent girl, prevent the impending topple of her own Kingdom? Follow Mae, in this heart-stopping adventure: where fate, betrayal, and evil await behind every corner. Old morals will be questioned and new ones shall be founded. Fire is alight within the Kingdoms. And from it, the values of responsibility, empathy, and love will spark a new era for all. So turn the page! And be immersed in a supernatural world. UPDATES EVERY OTHER FRIDAY!
