He took a deep breathe in, feeling time slow as he gazed into grey stormy eyes filled with unspoken apologies and terror.
He wanted so bad to tell him this wasn't his fault, that it was ok.
As his mouth curled around the words, desperate, time crashed into him as the world spun and descended into darkness.

His ears rung and his body felt so cold, he heard the distant sound of someone screaming but he couldn't focus. It was so cold and he was so tired.
