He came across as confident, carefree, sure of himself and that he was having the time of his life.
Liam seemed to be enjoying his life, having fun and why not oasis were on top of the world
But.... Underneath he was suffering, he didn't want to get out of bed, he didn't like what he saw in the mirror and sometimes he didn't want to live

Friend pointed out I should put a warning on this.
Includes talk of suicide, self harm, violence, difficult family issues, depression.
Also words and attitudes of the time it is set (1990s) that may offend some. They do not represent my views and are used to put things in context, be true to how those involved spoke/thought at the time.

TW: this book may contain mentions of violence and of suicide. DISCLAIMER #1: I wrote this story when I was a teen and while some mental disorders are the focal point, they may not be accurate representations as I was far from being a psychologist. There are several things Lynn doesn't quite get about the world she lives in, which makes it harder for her to figure herself out. She is not your average teenager. She's young, intelligent, though something about her is off by now. Everyone is quick to misjudge and point fingers, everything and everyone is so corrupted that she's afraid she'll lose herself among a bunch of wandering, empty souls. Therapy can only help so much, depression is hard to die, and in Lynn's case it's caused solely by the fact she doesn't 'fit in'. She can't really find her place in the world. But there's something really special about her; Her dreams are haunted by a wonderful, mystical place. No one understands her, they think she's off her rocker, that she needs to cut her childish daydreams. But Lynn knows deep in her heart that place really exists, and she'll do anything to find it, with the help of some new found friends. There's only one thing she must do: Keep an open mind, it brings open hearts and open eyes. -- DISCLAIMER #2 This fanfiction is inspired to Mind Over Matter by Pvris and their lyrics in general. All you read here is fiction. every reference to real events or people is purely coincidental. I do not own the songs featured in the book. Batman ~Liam Payne Fanfic~ by TOPkcIX
35 parts Complete
This is Liam Payne FanFic- Avalon Syms never grew up with a normal life. After her father dieing and her mother turning her back, she discovers she is more than nothing. Soon Liam Payne sees her and instantly feels something. They are both attracted to each other, especially when he finds out that she sings. "I was in the winter of my life- and the men I met along the road were my only summer. At night I fell sleep with visions of myself dancing and laughing and crying with them. Three months down the line of being on an endless world tour and my memories of them were the only things that sustained me, and my only real happy times. I was a singer, not very popular one, I once has dreams of becoming a beautiful poet- but upon an unfortunate series of events saw those dreams dashed and divided like million stars in the night sky that I wished on over and over again- sparkling and broken. But I didn't really mind it because I knew that it takes getting everything you ever wanted and then losing it to know what true freedom is. When the people I used to know found out what I had been doing, how I had been living- they asked me why. But theres no use in talking to people who have a home, they have no idea what its like to seek safety in other people, for home to be wherever you lied you head. I was always an unusual girl, No moral compass pointing me due north, no fixed personality. Just an inner indecisiveness that was as wide as wavering as the sea. And if I said that I didn't plan for it to turn out this way Id be lying- because I was born to be the other woman. I belonged to no one- who belonged to everyone, who had nothing- who wanted everything with a fire for every experience and an obsession for freedom that terrified me to the point that I couldn't even talk about- and pushed me to a nomadic point of madness that both dazzled and dizzied me." ~Avalon Sydeny Syms © 2013
