"Hakasen Academy..." I murmured softly, reading the yellow and partially tattered paper that rested in my hands. Andalo grinned and patted my back, causing me to wince slightly. That boy really needed to learn how to control his strength. 
"Looks like you'll be the most sucessful out of all of us once you graduate." Hakasen Academy... A school for the supernaturally gifted and a haven from human persecution. Why on earth would I have been selected to attend above everyone else I know? I guess I would just have to find out. However, after I arrived,  all I seemed to be greeted with was one disaster after the next. And it all started with that man...
"Why are you doing this?" I whispered, my voice faltering as I try to stand.
"Because as it turns out, you are the interesting one here." The dark cladded man grinned visciously, his eyes glowing a brilliant ruby red that paralized me with fear. But before I could respond, he disappeared, vanishing into the pitch black night. As it turned out, this wasn't about the academy at all. It was about me, who I was... Or who I thought I was at least... And the world which I was created to save...All Rights Reserved

"Who are you?" I demand. The boy in front of me replies, "That's not how this works, love." I freeze. That phrase. That voice. It can't be. I look up but he's just a cloaked silhouette. The rustling stops when boys surrounding us step from their hiding spots and light lanterns. Every single one of them masked and cloaked. Except the one in front of me. The lamps lit, and I see his face. "Whoa," slips from my lips as I stare at the boy in front of me. His eyes widen and his jaw almost, just almost, drops. With his guard down for that one instant I lose all fear and gain control. "You!" I yell suddenly overflowing with anger. My stomach heats with rage. I fight to stand, stronger this time with anger as fuel. He backs up, his breath increasing. Obviously, uneasy, I take it as a win and almost stand all the way. "You. What are you doing here? How did you find this place!" He switched to angry. "You! You're the reason! They put me back because of you! It was all cause of you! It was your fault! All of it!" I'm so angry I yell only what I can. My thoughts flying through my head I can only yell unexplained nonsense. I've never felt anger like this before. The red glow lightly pours off my own skin and I take notice to it. I compare it to the glow coming off of him. Suddenly, it's an instinct to allow the anger to explode and in doing so the red glow is taken from his chest as I absorb it all and throw it out in all directions. I yank down away from the boy holding me just as the red glow gets sucked from him, absorbed into my hands, and then thrown out in a sphere of red glow. All boys stumbling but not by much and the one holding me gets knocked back, I'm free. "You die now, Peter Pan!"

I feel uneasy under his gaze, and i feel his eyes burning a hole in the side of my face. "No, I won't explain because it's not important." He says in a low, almost, growl. I flinch and look back into his eyes. I feel hurt by his words and I don't know why, but I know he sees it in my eyes. His faces flashes with regret but it's quickly covered up with his faces going back to it's hard cold look. I feel my heart stop and my face go pale. His look terrified me making me hold my breath. "Breath." He orders. I start to breathe again and just blink at him. "Now go." He orders me again. I flinch involuntarily at his tone and jump back slightly. "Please don't let me walk home alone." I beg in a quiet voice, looking down at my feet. The next thing I see are his black combat boots right in front of my shoes. I look up into his eyes and he looks down into mine confusion written all over his face. "How come you aren't running yet?" He questions searching my eyes. "I just can't walk home alone, please I'm scared." I hear him chuckle. "You aren't afraid of me? What can possibly be scarier than me?" He asks. "Well, I know you will keep me safe." "Why is that?" He questions raising an eyebrow at me. "You haven't hurt me." "Yet." He mutters, but I roll my eyes.

I'm not like you, or Kaname or any other of those stuck up purebloods... doesn't mean I wont use what i am to an advantage" He would let out a slight laugh, kneeling down "my my... This again with you being human. You were born human yes, but now?" He would say, plunging his hand into my side. I would tense, yelling out in pain and gritting my teeth as he moved his hand around in my side before pulling it out, holding his small bloodied hand infront of my face. "This... is vampire blood. You are human in flesh alone and even that is questionable..." he would grasp onto my shoulders, looking directly into my eyes "you need to figure out what you are, only then will you be able to escape, then take back control. Only when you accept this will you be able to kill them all" he would say calmly.

"Shhh, it's going to be okay," he says, pressing me close. My whole side explodes with sparks. It tickles me. "You have to stop hurt yourself. Why are you even here? How am I going to protect you here?" he asks angrily. "I don't need your protection!" I shout, pushing him away. I get an angry growl back. Quickly I grab another knife and throws it over my shoulder, hitting bulls' eye. He glares at me, and the room has gone completely silent. That's when I discover that I may have gone too far with the insanely possessive highness, even though I'm grateful for the extra lessons he gives me. Then suddenly everyone hurries out of the training area. Leaving me alone with the growling, red eyed alpha.
