Luc Fallory had not been around for a while, but when he goes missing, it's about time that somebody starts looking for him. In search for her older brother, Lyoné Fallory leaves her position in France as the French Minister of Magic's daughter, to travel to the great city of New York - somewhere she hopes her brother might be found. But instead, she manages to find a freckled-faced Magizoologist and curt ex-Auror who seem to need her just as much. And maybe, Lyoné might learn that New York could be where all the lost people go.

Then, in the face of a fragile equilibrium of secrecy and increasing disasters, ascribed to the dark wizard Gellert Grindelwald. Along with an invisible devastating and unpredictable meanace still wrecks havoc in New York.
