If there was one thing anyone who was anyone in the small town of LoLotus knew for certain, was that Macy Carson and Sophie McLane hated each other.

And how couldn't they? They were opposite in every way, every small decision of one, able to set off the other into a raging storm of anger. It didn't matter that they were siblings - they hated each other for that even more, even if they only had the same mom - their hate for each other went deeper than Macy's love for soccer and Sophie's love for shopping (they had a lot of love for those things). 

The only thing the two of them had in common, was that they both loved their mother. Their role model, and hero. 

But once their mother has been taken by the infamous Lord Centurais, a magical serial killer, the two girls must put aside their shared resentment for each other to save their mother, and figure out why she was taken in the first place.

And the weirdness doesn't end here. We have to defeat a 'Dark Lord' too. He was a maniacal god who became a magician with the help of another magician. We have to kill him because if we don't then, he would kill us, which doesn't sound nice (and is a bit confusing) (*wink*). *** This is the first book of Monastasia series. The next book is "The Chained Goddess". The prequel is "Becoming A Grey Villainess". This is my first book and it may have some grammatical errors. Please point them out in comments.
