Vera, a princess, a goddess, eyes as bright as the suns. She is the definition of beauty. One day this very same beauty is sent to Asgard, promised to the young Prince Thor. But her heart is promised to another, the dark and mysterious prince, Loki.

Vera is trapped in a engagement to the throne, pinned there by her mothers sword.

Will she escape and be with the one she loves, or will she lose him forever to his own darkness.

"I will take that crown and I will take you with it. There is nothing you or Thor can do, that will stop me from claiming the woman I love." Loki hisses, his lips grazing her flushed ear. Vera's eyes dilate, her chest rising and falling as heat filled her gut.

Loki tilts her chin up, forcing Vera's heated gaze on him. Their eyes locking, shocking them all over again. It felt like the first night all over again.

"You will only get yourself killed." Vera whispers, bringing a hand up, grabbing the cuff of his shirt. Her eyes shinning with unshed tears. Her eyes moving rapidly, taking in his godly features. "Then let me die, if it means I get to be with you." Loki breaths, cupping her face, showing her just how devoted he was to her.

By the gods those eyes of his. Vera never knew how much emotion the young god felt.
