Amidst the raging war between Shadow and Ghost, Isabella White's parents were killed in their home at the quiet hour of the night.
After the attack, Isabella was forced to join in the war since she was underage and had no other connections. For 4 years she fought in the war and had to watch her friends die. This eventually got a hold of her, and she left due to not being able to fight on the front lines anymore.
Isabella moved to a quiet place called Retail Row and lived by herself. She changed her name to Y/n L/n in an attempted to put her past behind her.
Y/n stayed in a small apartment for some months and slowly got better. One day, however, she made a decision that would place her back into the war, in the worst way possible.

This is the second book of the original one. If you haven't, I recommend reading the first book for a better understanding of this one! This book is FINISHED. I added bonus chapters at the end, finally fully finishing. The "Please..." I hear her whimper and I go into full panic mode. "Calm down, okay? Deep breaths. Don't hang up. I'll be with you soon. Where are you?" I rush as I grab the car key sitting on the glass table. I run into the garage with my dad behind me. "What do you need?" Dad asks "A room. A big one." He runs back inside as I hear her voice again.
