Centuries have passed and the world as we know it has changed, The Invasion changed it all. The planet is now split into two lands: Demetrix, home to the superior race known as the Elites, and the Realm, where three quarters of the world population, called Leagues, resides in. Both lands are split by vast waters, approximately 12 thousand kilometers from each other. Leagues are born to serve Elites and are put through training up until the age of 17, where they have a year of freedom. However, that year is mostly given to them to allow them time to choose between fulfilling a Task for an Elite or death.

Samantha Lockets, a 17 years old League takes on a Task in Demetrix as a counselor for Demetrix’ leader’s son, Finn Royal. His conceited character, his mischievous smirk, his breathtaking eyes...

With a secret as important as the world being kept two levels below her and a jaw-dropping devilish boy that she never seems to be able to flee, oh boy am she in trouble.

Her world is dying, poisoned and ravaged by war, and there's only one way to survive. Sixteen-year-old Valora steps up to lead her people in an evacuation, scattering them among the stars in a desperate hope to preserve Zerian life. The new world where they seek refuge-a place that harbors a powerful and mysterious energy, and native lifeforms that are far from welcoming-proves to be no less treacherous. But Valora soon realizes that the greatest danger her people will face is the one they brought with them. The locket her father gifted her before she left carries the secrets about what happened to her world, about what happened to her mother-whose mysterious death still troubled her-and about the enemy that is closer than she ever imagined. Valora must make a heartbreaking choice in order to save not only the lives of her people, but their souls as well.
