"If you love me, you won't leave me." Jessie has believed those words from her boyfriend, Josh, since senior year of high school. She loves him and doesn't want to leave him. Not even when he shouts at her and hits her. Jessie's best friend, Kolleen, can't stand seeing her in that situation. Vienna Ross couldn't stand it anymore, she had to get out while she could. her 18th birthday was coming up which only reminded her of her mother. Her mom died giving birth to her, and because of that her father often ignored her, because he had no one else to blame for her mother's death. When he wasn't ignoring her, she wished he had been. Her father was abusive to her but was way worse when drunk, which was very often. When Vienna finally got her chance to escape the hell she lived in, she took it, problem was her father didn't own any horses, he had to sell them to pay the bills since he wasn't working. So that left her with one choice, escape on foot. She'll make allies, face dangers, and find love along the way. Find out what happens next in this exciting and thrilling tale.
