Every hero has a great story. But we sometimes forget about those who suffer in those stories. To most of these side characters, there is only demise, they won't get saved, rescued, protected, or even helped. Some will do things they'll regret, and some will do things they won't be able to live with. Some will do... Terrible things... But most of them did their best.
There was no hope of survival.
There was only an unwinnable war, with few winnable battles.
They did not win their battles.
This... is how they die...

A couple of short stories I've written or am writing about people in connection to popular characters in a book that I've been working on for the past. . . . .... Forever...
"This... is how they die." is about a couple of background characters that all had connections to popular characters I've written in one way or another. They... will all die. It shows what happened to them after the popular characters left them to die or left them alone.
There is also a mysterious figure that somehow knows all of these people and has an agenda of it's own...

Who would've know that Call of Duty Zombies, YouTubers, and reality, don't mix well together. I figured this out as soon as the apocalypse hit. My names (Y/N). I'm a 21 year old girl that loved to play video games and make videos about it then and post it to YouTube, well I did before this hit. The experiment.
They used my vulnerability against me. They used that weapon, to make me accept their stupid idea. And I of course, accepted it, I didn't even know what they were going to do. They tugged and poked and even shoved their disgusting finger in your wound, just to see you cry. To see you change. No pitty in their eyes. They just continue. They drag you around with metal chains, hit you and turn you into a experiment. But I had enough of the tugging, the clawing, the moaning, the crying and pleading for them to stop, but simply feeding them with our pain. They turned me into something, that neither do they know what I am. Their afraid of me, of my reflexes, my strength. I killed a lot of them. They say I have a cold heart, that I don't feel nothing. A teen girl, pitch black hair, black eyes, white skin. Her height is 5'8. People are scared of her, not just because of her strength but because of they way she kills. She lived in this hell hole, where they take her to rooms. Examine. Fight. She knows she won't be able to entertain them for long. She decides to run. Soul. Brown hair as mud, blue eyes as the sky. Hight 6'2. Tanned and toned body. Death's best friend in the hell hole they're in, he's as cold as she is. But shows a bit of sympathy. Well... More than her at least. He's been there for her, ever since she entered this place of crap. They're the two most feared. As some people say, they're a perfect couple. Killing. Fighting. Cold hearted creatures. A rebellious teen fallen angel has arrived... what could go wrong?!
Kit had died young, that much is a tragedy in itself. They had a bright future ahead of them. They were going to graduate high school. They were going to go and get a degree in biology. They were going to help preserve as much of the wildlife left on Earth. They had their whole life planned. Then they get a deadly virus that, because of their shit immune system, brought them to an early grave. They thankfully did make it to heaven. They quickly began a new life up in heaven. They made friends. They began to thrive up there in the fluffy clouds. They had a second chance at a bright future... until it all got thrown down the drain. Their foster mom always did say their short fuse would be the death of them. Now, Kit is in hell. A fallen angel that is also a minor. Not the best combination in this scenario. Thankfully, they get taken in by a certain princess with a heart of gold. Will they survive this new turn of events? ... oh, and the group gets to meet more of the great king of hell's family! Becoming Them: A Zombie Novel
What would you do if one second you were struggling to survive with your friends and mother in tow, and then you wake up to find yourself with a group of strangers the next - all during the country's takeover of blood-thirsty zeds? Megan couldn't believe her eyes. Her brain was muddled with confusion she couldn't get rid of, no matter how many times those strangers reassured her and explained what happened. But she had to accept it, even though it didn't make any sense to her. Megan had been with her mother every step of the way since everything turned to chaos, beginning just a year before, and now she was nowhere to be seen. And on top of that, she had the zeds to deal with. Ghastly creatures that used to be human, carrying a virus that's spread through a constant hunger for flesh from the host, spreading through bites and scratches. It didn't exactly make it easy to prevent getting infected. Things could have been worse, though, Megan thought. She could've been left all alone to ponder over her thoughts and fear over the future. It'll only be within the time spent with the new group will she find out that everything's not as happy and welcoming as it had seemed. These people had a few secrets of their own, including the real reason they took Megan in. Zombie Rot
Idk if anyone's ever written something like this, but it sounds pretty cool in my head. Sterek and zombies. Zombie apocalypse. And yes there are still werewolves/Coyotes/ect., but that's it, no other supernatural's. The werewolves healing abilities pretty much stop them from becoming a zombie. Instead becoming more feral like, as if a lighter version of rabies- rouge wolves- like crazy Peter. ------------------------ It all starts with a bad idea, stiles and his group of survivors trying to find somewhere safe to hide. How bad can taking refuge in an old town, and old burnt up house be when you've got zombies literally searching for living flesh to chew on. Stiles kicks aside his four barrel shot gun as Scott watches him angrily beat at what must've been an old table, or door side table of sorts, after losing a member of their group. She was strong, and close to stiles as they bonded over their versions of how the whole world wreck started. Of course that's besides the point when a hunky man, or correction, werewolf man drops down the steps of the broken home. Then again, that certain werewolf seems to have Both caught and given his attention to stiles. The human finding the large muscled, broad, stone faced, blunt man just as interesting as the wolf found the rambling, loud, leading, beautiful Human, interesting.
