I started walking to school when I heard someone call out my name, I turn around to find a lanky noodle running towards me
"What do you want Hemmings" Turning back around continuing to walk to school
"Why didn't you wait for me?" He said in a annoyed voice
"You're the one that always wants to walk together not me"
"Because I told your mum i would look after you"
"Well I'm not fucking 12 I don't need looking after, just fuck off" I said getting frustrated
"Just shut up, I'm walking with you to school we have the same fucking argument everyday"
"Because your a prick" I said nudging his shoulder, to be honest me and Luke have been best friends since we where little, we have a love hate relationship.
"Oh so there's this party tonight and you're coming"
"No"
"It wasn't a question Tyla, I know your depressed I just want to help you get your mind off things" he said stopping in front of the school wrapping me in his arms

I had always thought highly of myself. I always made good grades, always the good child. Mom let me stay out past 3 because she knew that I was making "good choices". Well they used to be "good choices" till I was in my senior year of College. When you see 'Mean Girls', it is nothing compared to what I go through. I did things. Ashton is okay right now. He's always like this after a bad bout. He starts off saying that the world is his oyster and he loves everyone, but when the energy and fresh success fades, so does he. Luke knows. He knows about all of Ashton's problems. He knows about the time Ashton was bullied nearly to the brink, the family deaths and friend losses, and the ups and downs, the latter of which seem to be more common lately. It's been so easy lately for Ashton to slip after a joke gone wrong, or a jab on Twitter. Ashton always says he's sorry, repeating it again and again if only to convince himself. Luke knows he's sorry, knows that he can't help it. And he'll sit by the bathtub for hours, holding Ashton, to make sure that he knows someone loves him. None of the other boys know. Ashton couldn't bring himself to tell them and face their disapproving stares too, and he wouldn't let Luke tell them, so he's stuck in this half state of secrecy and confession to Luke. Ashton hasn't gone too far yet, not far enough that Luke can't patch him up with gauze, antibiotics, and a long hug. But someday, someday, Luke knows Ashton won't be able to take it anymore, and Ashton will die. And Luke will be all alone.Kumpleto
