Set a little while after The Amazing Spider-Man 2. Peter meets Penny,  a young woman living in New York, in an unusual circumstance... 

Disclaimer - I obviously do not own the rights to the character of Peter Parker or any other characters/details referenced in The Amazing Spider-Man. I'm just having some fun writing a fan-fic that I hope some people will enjoy. I haven't written in a while, so be kind and please comment to let me know if you want me to carry on with this story. 

Also, the events in my story do not relate to anything that happens in No Way Home. 

Final note: There is some swearing and some scenes may be sexually-explicit in nature (I haven't fully decided yet :P) so this is not suitable for younger readers.  

Sneak peak: 

Peter took great pride in telling people how he had met Penny. He was chest-deep in shit. No, not metaphorically. Literally. He was emerging from a drain hole after tracking yet another villain who appeared to have a fondness for hiding out in the sewage system. As he was pulling himself up, his spandex suit snagged on a piece of jagged metal which tore through the thin material and cut his chest. "Fuck!" He exclaimed. He had managed to not sustain any injuries that night up until that point and he chuckled to himself at the thought of sustaining one in such a clumsy circumstance.All Rights Reserved

My first hand at actually trying to write a Spiderman Fanfiction that actually uses Peter Parker as Spiderman. Yay! Also, a crossover of Spiderman (A character drawn to my childhood) and the Incredibles (Another franchise close to my childhood) I'll be using the Peter from the Insomniac Game, but going to toy with the time between the initial bite and the 8 year time gap. Some Things To Establish First: 1. The First suit I'll start is the tech suit from the start of the game. I'm making the assumption that Peter sort of thought just that far ahead in his progress of a superhero. 2. I'm placing this in Year 2 of the 8 year gap. That way I have a nice 17 year old Peter Parker to work with and he's still relatively new to being Spider-Man but he's still used to his powers and he's gotten the hang of the routine of being Spider-Man. 3. I am of course going to have Peter meet with Edna. 4. For the sake of simplicity, I'll Spider-Man in the time period the Incredibles are set in. (Born in 1946 and goes on to 1963 as a 17 year old) 5. This will be a version of the Incredibles where Spider-Man is there. He was affected by the HRA and is discouraged to have to give it up. 6. Peter lives in Metroville with Aunt May. He had to move there from New Urbam (stand in for New York) after Ben died. 7. This is Marisa Tomei Aunt May. Cool? Cool. 😎 With all that said and done, enjoy.

(Basically MCU Spiderman mixed with Insomniac (Game) Spiderman but still 16, cause Batman and the added trauma is pretty juicy :} ) Peter was never one to complain, mainly because it would quickly snowball into an even bigger problem. Though he wasn't above going back to his New Yorker roots and complaining about the traffic, weather, or even the bus schedule. But one day, on top of the Oz. Corp Tower, Peter was getting beaten by the sinister 6, again, going through a terrible break up with M.J, again, and still trying to process the death of his mentor and aunt, before he ran out of web fluid just as he was trying to take out one of his sinister problems, he admits, he did complain a little bit. Now he was stuck in the middle of the cursed hell scape known as Gotham, trying to make a living again while working in a library ( He learned his lesson from delivering pizzas, and photography), getting chased by a bat related hero/vigilante/anti-hero family when in his hero attire (They needed help, so) and almost threatened to be adopted by a rich billionaire family when he's Peter Parker.
