"I don't understand you, Jeremy. I told you so fucking many times that you shouldn't hit on my classmates because they aren't as nice as they seem. Jack thinks people like you are hideous. Now tell me why are you coming to me with this?" Jeremy's crying died down when he heard Toby speak in such a rude tone with him. He never talked to him like this... He was always such a nice guy, so why is he so rude to him now?

"I-I... I know but..." 𝘐 𝘫𝘶𝘴𝘵 𝘸𝘢𝘯𝘵𝘦𝘥 𝘺𝘰𝘶𝘳 𝘤𝘰𝘮𝘧𝘰𝘳𝘵... Jeremy thought but he knew he shouldn't say it out loud. Toby probably would just push him further away and that was the last thing Jeremy was wishing for.

"Just answer me, Jeremy, why the fuck are you coming to me crying then?! I told you to be careful! You should've listened to me! Don't come here now to ask for comfort, it's none of my business. Go and find someone who wants to hear your crying, cause let me tell you, that I don't give one single fuck about it." Toby just slightly pushed Jeremy's shoulder and left him all alone in the hallway. Jeremy watched as Toby opened the exit of the school and shut it behind him with so much streght that Jeremy flinched. The tears didn't stop, in fact, more tears were building up in Jeremy's eyes.

"I just... I only want your comfort, Toby... I'm sorry..." Jeremy whispered, deep down hoping Toby would hear it even though he was probably already far away from the school. "Does Toby thinks the same...?" he asked from himself and just whipped off the tears from his red cheeks with his sleeve. "Am I really that hideous as Jack said...? Do you think the same, Toby?" Jeremy's voice and hands were slightly trembling. He felt sad and betrayed.
