In the desert island country of Volcá, the Volcán tribe of Ignis is the oasis home to the Bakugou family, who are known as the Volcán equivalent of royalty. For two years, the young Prince has been off searching for "glory", as tradition among firstborn Ignis princes. Only two months before the young Prince was set to return, an elf girl from Sidhe appears, dehydrated and half dead, and is taken in by his parents.
The Ignis tribe takes quickly to the foreigner as she recovers, and soon she is adored by all. Just as life is settling down for the elfin girl, the Prince returns with stories of his adventures aplenty. But with this new person around, both of their lives are thrown into disarray. Prince Katsuki never had to share his parents before, and the elf girl never could have been prepared for the kind of hostility and vulgarity that is Katsuki Bakugou.
Though the two can't seem to get along, the threat of war between Volcá and Sidhe forces them to work together in order to save the Ignis.
Secrets are revealed, and new feelings are uncovered. All in all... the whole experience is entirely foreign to the both of them.
